Immeasurable talent and intoxicating fun. They take the stage with a mix of complete grace and total abandonment to create some of the most technically adept and magnetically challenging heavy metal ever. Their dedication to putting on some of the most intense live performances ever is matched by their astonishing skill that only gets better with each record. Deliver Us, DARKEST HOUR’s newest effort, sets yet another higher standard for themselves, as well as for the entire metal community. Each track on this record comprises not only some of the band’s most musically ambitious work, but is also their most personal collection of songs to date. Nothing speaks louder than the words of singer John Henry on the title track… “this world is dying everyday don’t let it come between us, our fate has traveled this far and now the storm, brings us faster to a close, brimming with pathetic prose... don’t leave me, give me release don’t sink down into defeat, only when you’re through fleeing can you save yourself deliver us.”

Darkest Hour are fucking incredible!!!

I (unfortunately) only had the pleasure of getting in to them about 6 months ago when i first heard "Undoing Ruin" and was completely blown away. Then i had the most sincere of pleasures of seeing them live in my home town and meeting them, and can i just say, these dudes are fucking legends.

They played with some of my best mates that night, and ive never seen such a wikid band, in terms of actualy listening and conversing with local bands. This Cd is not quite as good as "Undoing Ruin", but lets be honest, that cd is a masterpiece.

Darkest Hour are one of my absolute favourite bands now, and i cant wait for them to return to Australia so i can once again rock out to (with) them!!!

Metallica was the big metal band in the 80s that influenced a whole generation of music. I cant really think who the big metal band was for the 90s.....Maybe Metallica still.....Or sadly Korn. Darkest Hour is that band now. These guys do it all flawlessly. Every CD by these guys is just great and solid. Deliver Us opens with Doomsayer and doesnt disappoint at all from there. Doomsayer and Demons are the 2 songs I recommend anyone check out if theyre weary of picking this up. Darkest Hour is definately in my top 13 band list and they should be in yours
