In 2004 the Unseen’s Hellcat debut, State of Discontent, broke the Boston punk favorites onto the national scene; the band hit the road behind the album and never looked back. Internal Salvation, the Unseen’s second album with Hellcat records shows the Unseen staying true to their punk roots, with classic anthemic choruses and head-cracking beats – like their Boston label mates Dropkick Murphys, Unseen are both the heart and soul of punk, and can reach beyond its borders to fans of all styles of rock.

wow, a very heavy album. the boys from the unseen put alot of heart and soul into this album and it pays off bigtime. songs like At Point Break, Right Before Your Eyes, Torn And Shattered (Nothing Left), Let It Go, and No Direction just blew me away..if you loved their other releases, buy this. solid streetpunk with a positive message about hope in this world of lies.

What more can I say, this is the Unseen. Awesome CD. Not my favorite, but that doesn't, by any means, mean that it is not good. Pick it up if your a punk fan.

This was a good album but is was not their best effort. All of their previous albums are a bit better, but this one is still worth having.

This is an awesome album! I listened to it once & I thought it was pretty good. But after listening to it a few more times, I realized this album is totally kick you know what! Definately get this! You won't be disapointed. Act the Part is one of the Unseen's best tracks ever, although I like the version they had on Give 'Em the Boot V better.

Meh.

This is no where near as good a cd as State of Discontent. The songs kind of blend together. I'm not too impressed with it.

Oh well.

Pretty much the same thing you expect from The Unseen. Some catchy riffs and political songs. Same formula as "Explode" and "State of Discontent". I will say that the vocals are a tenny bit different, but not completely different as previously stated.

What can be said about this album? The word "disappointment" comes to mind. The first thing you notice about the new Unseen record is the immensely high production value. The vocals are a big let down. It sounds like Mark is shrieking and its almost unbearable at points. I dont know what happened to his voice, but its so different and nothing like he used to be able to do. Only a few songs stand out of this album stand out as good Unseen songs: Such Tragedy, At Point Break, Left for Dead, and Act the Part. Everything else really just runs together. It becomes difficult to discern one track from the next. Most of that is because you just really dont want to. Its everything you would expect from the Unseen, fast guitars, thrashing drums, but there are some key things missing. Namely, there are very few catchy choruses that their last albums contained and the bass is really hard to hear in most songs. I just dont see any of these songs being in huge demand when they play live. My only hope is that when i go see them at Warped Tour that they are still one of the best live shows around.
