This is a great album, this is the second time I've bought it. It has a lot of good songs on it, it's one of those cd's that you dont have to skip every other song on. If you're looking at this album, stop wasting time and buy it already..

7/5/2005 by Erik from Apo, AE Rating:
First album is WAY better, but this one still holds its own musically. Lots of really quality songs, and while they will definitely get you pumped up, I don't feel there is really anything on here that is going to make you think. First off, I can't understand why people bitch about the content (ie: sex, violence, and drugs) when most reviews on here specifically state that’s what’s on the album. Why buy something you know you won't like? I would say that the main fault of this album is Lars' constant need to brag about himself. It’s like listening to a rapper go on about his bling and bitches. Whereas the first album let the music and lyrics speak for themselves, it’s like Lars is trying to convince you how cool he is on Viking. Dude, we know you're Lars fucking Fredricksen. You don't have to tell us you're a badass. That said, Lars is one of the coolest and most laid back punk "stars" I've met. So, I guess I don't understand where he's coming from with the shit on this record.

Lars Frederiksen is a cool as fuck guy, his first CD was excellent to an utter maximum and Rancid is my all-time favorite band, but goddamn if is CD isn't borderline self-parody. I agree with whoever below me said that this is like a rap CD, because the first couple of songs he just sings about his street cred, then his weapons and how he'll kill ya and then finishes it up with singing about all the hoes he gets. Barely not self-parody. The worse I would say is Switchblade, featuring Skinhead Rob Aston, who I fucking hate. Honesly, has anyone else noticed that the more the guys from Rancid associate themselves with Skinhead Rob, the shittier their stuff gets? For example -Indestructible, Transplants and this CD.

About 5 or 6 songs are hits and the rest are misses. And the misses will make you embarrassed to even own the CD. But when they hit, how they fucking hit. My favorite songs are Bastards, 1%, Little Rude Girl and My Life To Live (which I will admit probably has the worse 'rap-like' lyrics besides Switchblade, but c'mon, it features Tim Armstrong!) Anyways, I give it three stars because its Lars. He needs to get his act together and knock out another CD more like the first one. Same for Tim Armstrong, fuck Transplants, make another Rancid CD. C'mon guys, do it for the kids.

3.5 because it's a punk album about how he's banged lots of chicks. They should change the name to Are you positive?

that joke may have been lame, but this album isn't too bad. Besides the fact that I'll keep away from whatever bathroom Lars may be using at a venue I'd still go to see them play. First album was better that one gets a 5....

AWESOME, GREAT,BUY IT.Lars and the Bastards are the best I got this album and then went and saw them on warped tour and I took my 10yr old bro, We both met Lars got free stuff from him pictures with him and he was awesome I met Skotty PR and Craig-leg and they were awesome too.So If anyone says theyre not theyre just Stupid and Liars.

4/29/2005 by Michael from Granada Hills, CA Rating:
I've had this cd for a long time but never reviewed it. This is probably one of the strangest punk records ever. The whole cd is pretty much Lars singing about how he has sex with hundreds of women and how he's from the streets and been through a lot of shit. I guess if you play guitar really good it doesn't matter if you have tatoos on your face to get chicks.... Some of the songs are catchy, but when i listen to a rancid album or anything with lars in it i don't want to hear him singing about all the chicks he's banged all around the world. The s/t was way better.

3/25/2005 by Carrie from Austin, MN Rating:
I became a big fan of Lars and the boys after their first album, it blew me away and holds a permanent place in my CD book. I was expecting great things from this album but was let down, guess that'll teach me to have expectations. I certainly like a few of the tunes on this one, but it just doesn't compare to their first.
