As soon as I heard "The Russians Are Coming" off of the Backchannel Broadcast, I knew I loved the Lillingtons. So upon hearing they had a new record coming out, I was thrilled...took me till now to buy it, but I love it. It's got the same ridiculous sci-fi and Cold-War / James Bond themes, and the music is sharp as ever. The only thing about this record that makes me sad is that the Lillingtons are done and gone...and I never got to see them.

Sounds OK, but is bland. All the songs run together and aren't particularly exciting. I forget I even own this album until it pops up on random, and then I have to look to see which generic pop-punk band just came on.

this cd was good, i mean better than most stuff out there. it does however lack the charm the others have. "death by television", and "the backchannel broadcast" are much stronger efforts. so i would recommend starting with those. i do have to say the Lillingtons were a breath of fresh air to the punk rock scene, can't get enough of em'.

What a fantastic CD. I wasn't sure if the The Lillingtons were going to release another record, let alone a GOOD record; But they did. If you have followed this band from the beginning then this record will be a big breath of fresh air from their last record "Back Channel Broadcast". Fast, Catchy Punk at it's finest right here.

The first couple times I listened to this CD I thought it was completely generic and mediocre. The more I listen to it, though, the more I like it. Its not as good as Death By Television or Shit Outta Luck, but its a step up from The Backchannel Broadcast.

Well this is a Lillingtons CD, alright. It sucks that Kody lost his marbles and teamed up with those taint-lickers. Teenage Bottlerocket is a fucking joke. Seriously, I was so embarrassed for Kody I cut myself 27 times. If any of you guys are like, close to him or friends please take the glue away from him. I dont think this guy needs anymore brain damage.<@:)

This was my top album of 2006. I couldn't resist downloading the MP3s when it leaked and felt absolutely compelled to actually buy it because it's seriously that good. I haven't been able to get this out of heavy rotation since it was released in October. My last.fm account has been overtaken by the Lillingtons.

No, of course it's not as good as "Death by television" but still its a damn fine punkrock album. Short, raw songs with great lyrics and great sound.
