Lillingtons - The Too Late Show
Lillingtons

The Too Late Show

Red Scare 110

Released on October 10, 2006

Sorry, but this item is no longer available

They’re back and with the original lineup! Straight outta The Blasting Room, The Lillingtons have returned with an album chock full catchy hits. It’s classic Lillingtons: the Red Menace, alien invasions, double agent spies, and every other kinda B-movie hijinx you can think of. Their vivid imaginations are matched only by their ability to write dynamic and catchy punk rock ditties. The Lillingtons have indeed returned, and it’s never too late to see what the legend is made of!

This cd Kicks. Fans of the Lookout sound will Love this one. I really enjoyed Russian Attack. Well worth it.

3/31/2008 by Travis from Santa Rosa, CA Rating:
As soon as I heard "The Russians Are Coming" off of the Backchannel Broadcast, I knew I loved the Lillingtons. So upon hearing they had a new record coming out, I was thrilled...took me till now to buy it, but I love it. It's got the same ridiculous sci-fi and Cold-War / James Bond themes, and the music is sharp as ever. The only thing about this record that makes me sad is that the Lillingtons are done and gone...and I never got to see them.

3/14/2008 by Anthony from Peoria, IL Rating:
Sounds OK, but is bland. All the songs run together and aren't particularly exciting. I forget I even own this album until it pops up on random, and then I have to look to see which generic pop-punk band just came on.

11/15/2007 by Steven from Lisle, IL Rating:
this cd was good, i mean better than most stuff out there. it does however lack the charm the others have. "death by television", and "the backchannel broadcast" are much stronger efforts. so i would recommend starting with those. i do have to say the Lillingtons were a breath of fresh air to the punk rock scene, can't get enough of em'.

10/6/2007 by Don from Riverside, CA Rating:
What a fantastic CD. I wasn't sure if the The Lillingtons were going to release another record, let alone a GOOD record; But they did. If you have followed this band from the beginning then this record will be a big breath of fresh air from their last record "Back Channel Broadcast". Fast, Catchy Punk at it's finest right here.

7/3/2007 by Brent from Pinedale, WY Rating:
The first couple times I listened to this CD I thought it was completely generic and mediocre. The more I listen to it, though, the more I like it. Its not as good as Death By Television or Shit Outta Luck, but its a step up from The Backchannel Broadcast.

5/28/2007 by Eric from Bartlett, IL Rating:
Well this is a Lillingtons CD, alright. It sucks that Kody lost his marbles and teamed up with those taint-lickers. Teenage Bottlerocket is a fucking joke. Seriously, I was so embarrassed for Kody I cut myself 27 times. If any of you guys are like, close to him or friends please take the glue away from him. I dont think this guy needs anymore brain damage.<@:)

5/25/2007 by Tyler from Chillicothe, IL Rating:
lillingtons rule. period. all i hear is static is great stay tuned is amazing, zombies, mars vs hollywood and all the rest, wow. i love this band.

5/10/2007 by Bill from Chicago, IL Rating:
This was my top album of 2006. I couldn't resist downloading the MP3s when it leaked and felt absolutely compelled to actually buy it because it's seriously that good. I haven't been able to get this out of heavy rotation since it was released in October. My last.fm account has been overtaken by the Lillingtons.

2/24/2007 by Anders from Hönö, Sweden Rating:
No, of course it's not as good as "Death by television" but still its a damn fine punkrock album. Short, raw songs with great lyrics and great sound.
