| Guttermouth - Shave The Planet |
The word "punk" is thrown around a lot these days and unfortunately, it's been misrepresented in every way, shape, and form. Then there's California's
Guttermouth, the true definition of punk rock: loud, fast, and truly offensive. This is their tenth album. Their infamous tongue-in-cheek humor and hyper
songs remain poignant to the times today; lambasting the politicians, the scenesters, and even their own audience.

| Use to be a great fan of Guttermouth, not so much now, but i thought i would buy this album after hearing a few killer tracks. I think that the cd is really short, which isn't a bad thing, you can easily play this from track 1 to 10 without skipping a track. I think they are really clever in song writing. My favourite albums of Guttermouth are still Gorgeous and Musical Monkey and I guess if you love those two albums, you'll like this and appreciate it. |

| First record on Volcom after leaving Epitaph. So you wanna know what I think huh? I loved the last record “Eat Your Face” and this one is just as fantastic. Its short and fast and catchy and offensive and pure Guttermouth. Clocks in at 22:22. “God, Steve McQueen "The Work Song”” is making fun of working and unions and lets’s just say that it’s a little less Street Dogs and a little more Guttermouth. But that is what Guttermouth is good at and that is phenom. They poke fun at everyone including society, sex, other bands, old people you name it so just laugh your ass off at it because you are supposed to. The longest song on the record is 3:24. During “My Chemical Imbalance” theres a little part that’s a take from Suicidal Tendencies “Institutionalized” which is funny as hell. If Mark Adkins doesn’t make you laugh during these 22 minutes then you are crazy.
A few songs have some talking at the beginning similar to “my wife’s breasts…” on the last record. Guttermouth rules, they do what they do well.
Comes with lyric book. Dig it! |

| One of the greatest bands ever and the best album put by them since Gorgeous. Its what you'd expect from Guttermouth more of a mix from Friendly People/Musical Monkey. And dont worry its not another Gusto.
Stand out tracks : My Chemical Imbalance, Flacidism, The 23 Things That Rhyme With Darby Crash
Everyone should own this short but sweet album!
