NY's punk veterans return with a brash, brutal new album; Twelve tracks of blistering punk rock, produced by Bill Stevenson (Black Flag, Rise Against, Suicide Machines). At a time when punk has steered either into sugary pop or full on Nu metal territory, there is at least one band flying the flag for traditional street music. The Casualties!!!

Easily the best Casualties record to date, this record destroys. Production is stellar as hell with Bill Stevenson and Jason Livermore at the helm just like on the last record, “On the Front Line”. Much more of a socially conscious record, in fact I might even say ‘political’ than past records. Clocks in right at 30:04. The last track “Stand and Fight” is instrumental. I swear they just keep getting better on each record. Plenty of gang vocals and guitar leads are more stellar and clear than ever. Its fucking great, I’m not kidding, the cleanest recording so far. They have all gotten better at their instruments. “It It For Life” is about/inspired by good ole Woody Guthrie and the message he had on his guitar. You’ve heard about this message on good friends Anti-Flag’s “Underground Network” record on “This Machine Kills Fascists”. Jorge uses this same phrase from Woody’s guitar and its phenom. If you thought it would be hard to make a record better than “On the Front Line”, think again. This is even better. Includes lyric book and some killer black and white pictures of them. Be on the look out for the live record! And go see the Casualties play! Up the punx!

8/9/2007 by Travis Roberson from Winter Garden, FL Rating:
When I received this album in the mail I didn't know what to expect. When I put it in and give it a listen all the way through, I wad deeply satisfied. This album is a little different from the sounds of the rest of the albums, but it is still great. It leans towards more of an On The Frontline sound. The lyrics on this album are a lot more mature and are more based on what is going on in the world today. They've sort of gotten away from the "Punx! Oi! Oi!" type of songs. Don't get me wrong, I love those songs to death, but it was getting sort of old. This is a great album and I think you should definitely pick it up.

7/6/2007 by Zach from Belmont, NY Rating:
This is not my favorite Casualties record but it is right up there, it has a little different sound but is still what you would expect from the Casualties. I would recommend this record to any Casualties fan.

6/22/2007 by Jonathan from Albuquerque, NM Rating:
Go Casualties. Better sound and melodies than ever before. I thought the bass lines stand out on this album. This is a step up from their glue-sniffing three chord shit. Not that I have anything against that old sound. They just developed their..ummm...talent. That and the whole band is different except for Gorge. (That's hor-hay to you white people who think it's "jorj".)

3/27/2007 by Filippo from Montreal, PQ Canada Rating:
A little bit too coreographed for me, but still a catchy album and a must get for any Casualties fan.

2/2/2007 by Jose from Woodland, CA Rating:
Great cd but not the best cd, I couple of good street punk and political songs (Without Warning,The Great American Progress) I still nove the spanish cd (En La Linea Del Frente) as my fav from the Casualties.

1/3/2007 by Laura from Saco, ME Rating:
I agree with most of the reviews, this CD doesn't compare with On the Front Line, which is awesome. It does have some good songs on it though, Under Attack really gets he CD going off to a good stat too.

11/4/2006 by Cameron from Alvin, TX Rating:
im gonna say what a lot of other people are probably saying- this IS a good cd, just not like what they've put out before. i'd recommend "on the front lines" before this one, i liked it a lot better

10/30/2006 by Jessica from Floral City, FL Rating:
This cd's not my favorite... I kno its their new cd, but its taken a bit to get used to. I def. dig the older stuff better like.. on the front line. If your just startin to listen to them i wouldnt get this one first.

9/23/2006 by Kevin from Sparta, NC Rating:
SHit!!! awesome fuckin cd!!! love it,it is the casualties most aggressive recording yet i like die hards better because the recording is yet rougher and i guess more punk like? but i do recommend this cd to any casualty die hard soldier!
