Crime In Stereo - The Troubled Stateside
With immediate comparisons to influences like Silent Majority, Dag Nasty, Embrace, Kid Dynamite and Gorilla Biscuits, Crime In Stereo does justic to the music they love. In large part to their cross-over appeal, Crime In Stereo's previous albums have always ended up on critics' "best lists."

This is heaven compared to the dog shit that they just released, the sound of an asscrack letting out a quiffe is sheer brilliance compared to the bore-a-thon that is their new album. This album is good and fun songs like I'm on the Guest LIST and Bikes for Afghanistan are rockin tunes that take a bit of hardcore a bit a melody and a bit a punk and put it in a mixer and press puree. This record demands an occasional listen and my cousin loves it so there you go. I wish I could say the same for the horse shit I got exposed to that was their new album, seriously fuck that shit.

This isnt really hardocre punk...... its more melodic punk, but lots of elements of hardcore, like the gang vocals and stuff. But i dont care what genre this is, because it fucking rules!!!Nitro has some of the best shit comin out... if you want a record that has emotion and passion, buy this shit now!

This album is incredible, there is soo much passion and energy in it. The lyrics are really strong too. I haven't gone through them word by word in the booklet, but they are up their with the best written stuff I heard from 80's/90's punk. Good hardcore with some slower stuff mixed between hardcore beats as evidenced in Gravity/Grace, but it is just as strong as the hardest stuff on the album. For Exes has a such a powerful guitar riff. You can check them out on purevolume (man I should get ad endorsements from them) but I would just order this one right now if you are here you obviously like punk music and play it loud! I crank this one at work or home and it's soo great.

Very good album with clever lyrics. The songs go from pure hardcore with raw energy to some mellower sound, but full of passion, which sometimes reminds me of Boysetsfire softer side. Really worth the money.
