Modern existence has been put into a formula; music included. While writing songs to meet some unseen industry criteria has always had its appeal, writing from within can often produce a much greater result.
Kaleidoscope is ten tracks of Progressive Rock laced with huge portions of pop and mathematical intemperance that defy all labels one might be able to attach. Fresh yet reminiscent, the disc expels hook after hook of clear, powerful guitar and vocal acrobatics, leaving the confused listener eager for a second exploration. This record stands out like a sore thumb in a mess of hands with able, robot thumbs, and maybe for once, it's good to be a little sore.
