Welcome to Reality (Limited White Marble Vinyl)

Frontier 110

Released on February 7, 2006

2006 is the 25th anniversary of not only the ADOLESCENTS' legendary Blue Album, but also their classic Welcome To Reality EP. Originally released as a three-song 7-inch, the EP was always short one of its tracks. "Richard Hung Himself" was recorded at the same time as the other three, but not mixed until Frontier released their Complete Demos 1980-1986 album in 2005. Now the EP has been reissued as it was originally intended, and pressed-up on 10-inch vinyl.

The Adolescents are a really good band. The Blue album is one of the best so-cal punk albums I have ever heard. The Demo's cd is alright too. This 10" is good, but lacks. The songs are so slow except for "Losing Battle". "Richard Hung Himself" is good, but really overrated. The other 2 songs are alright. I mean, its not shit, but it's no Blue Album. Mine came on white vinyl so it's all good.... Support Frontier records.
