$16.50

Since 1980, Bad Religion have been stunning the music world by mixing melody, thought, attitude, speed and ability. Live at the Palladium, filmed over two sold-out nights at Hollywood’s legendary Palladium last fall, serves as a career retrospective for one of the most beloved and respected punk rock bands in the history of the genre. Condensed down to one spitfire performance, the DVD features a mix of classics and rarities such as an acoustic piano version of “Cease”. Live at the Palladium captures the band at their most genuine and honest, in striking 5.1 sound. Extras include a collection of never-before-seen live TV footage from Los Angeles cable program New Wave Theatre circa 1981-1983, band photo gallery featuring new and vintage images of the band, and six music videos spanning the band’s career.

Amazing DVD, Bad Religion is still kickin it after all these years. Great show, and the interview footage is awesome as well. You will not be disappointed at all with this.

3/5/2007 by Drew from San Angelo, TX Rating:
Killer Bad Religion DVD. If you dig BR, you gotta have it. Brilliant live footage with 10 different camera angles and great audio quality. Songs are played from every album except New America and No Substance. Good mix of songs. The DVD is split up with live stuff from those 2 shows at the palladium and interviews with all 6 current band members. Issues discussed include: How they met, favorite songs and band members of fans who went to the two shows, favorite songs of the band members, first rehearsal, how they came up with the band name, the first show, the meaning and how they came up with the 'no crosses' logo, the inspiration and musical influences of the band members, when Greg Hetson joined, how the songwriting process works, the story behind the swith to and back from Atlantic Records, Mr. Brett leaving, Brian Baker joining, Brooks Wackerman joining, their take on 'making a difference', and the future and legacy of the band.

Extra features include live video footage from 1980 and 1982 at the New Wave Theatre, music videos of American Jesus, Atomic Garden, Los Angeles is Burning, Broken, Sorrow, and Struck a Nerve. Theres also a photo album of pictures including some from all eras of the bands existance.

Intervies are all very in-depth, almost answers any questions one could have about the band. Mr. Brett mentions that they are working on a double album but that has in fact been proven false since this documentary was made. BUT, they are still putting out a new full length CD on July 10th, 2007 so get ready! Catch em on the entire Vans Warped Tour 2007 too!

Get into it and buy this!!

This is a pretty great DVD. If you like Bad Religion you should enjoy this quite a bit. Songs from their entire catalouge all played well. The sound is great and big but it sounds live and fast too. Extensive interviews and a lot of special features. Far better than the "along the way" DVD.

12/26/2006 by Kevin from Grafton, WI Rating:
So yeah. This DVD was the hot shit. No complaints (almost), at all.

It's amazing that they managed to nearly cover almost every release, ranging from their last album, back to day one. I think the only albums they left out were no substance and new america, but other than that, they've got material from every release besides Into The Unknown (for obvious reasons). Theres a lot of songs I wish they would've fit in there, but hey, it can't be perfect. This is about as good as it gets.

The bonus material is pretty sweet, too, including all their epitaph videos (but no atlantic, i.e. walk, digital boy), and some other cool shit, but yeah, it's all cool, like the interviews between songs in the whole feature. Quaility is great, too. One of the best live bands out there, and as a band, one of the worlds greatest. Some insane music by some pretty insane people. True story.

If you're a fan, I suggest you pick this up. Like right now. You can thank me later with cash. (I'm kidding)

I really don't know where to start. I watched this 4 times in one week ! There are songs from almost every album, the quality is sharp, and the interviews are great. This is a must have for any Bad Religion fan, or anyone who is getting into true Punk Rock. The videos are only of the Epitaph songs, no Incomplete, 21 Century Digital Boy, or Walk.

Bad Religion is my absolute favorite band so when this DVD was finally released I jumped for joy. You can only watch Along The Way so many times before you hunger for some more recent Bad Religion concert footage. Well they really outdid themselves for this DVD. You get 30 songs and tons of really cool interviews from all the members of the band. It really says something when Bad Religion plays 30 songs for a live DVD and yet you still find yourself wishing that so many other great songs were also included on this DVD, it is really a testament to their amazing songwriting ability. The tracks they play live are all done flawlessly and watching Greg play Cease on the piano is especially chilling, such a great song. The interviews on here were also great. It's a real pleasure being able to hear all the members talk about all the different aspects of the band. Of course they could have talked about so many more subjects and it also would have been neat to hear a lot more from Brian Baker and Greg Hetson but there's only so much you can fit on one DVD.

The video footage on here is pretty good and crisp, my only complaint about that is that the footage could have been edited a little better. I wish they would have stayed on certain angles a bit longer instead of jumping from camera to camera so much every few seconds. My main complaint with this DVD is that the sound could have been better for the concert footage. I don't have a 5.1 audio sound system so the regular audio mix on this DVD is pretty flat and is lacking in quality. They should have also done a regular audio mix for this DVD instead of only making it a 5.1 audio mix. The bonus features are pretty good; you get some really old Bad Religion concert footage from their very early years which is so neat. You also get six Bad Religion music videos and a photo section. The music videos for Atomic Garden and American Jesus are standouts. It's crazy to think that those music videos were directed by the same guy that directed those Pirates Of The Caribbean movies.

So overall I'd say this is a great DVD and my only serious complaint about it is that the audio mix leaves something to be desired if you don't own a 5.1 audio system. Enjoy!

This dvd is very soothing to any long-time BR fan. It brings out the band from the beginning and shows in documentery style that BR keeps their mentality. It is very informative, the sound is the best on this dvd than any ive seen. DO IT!!

5/30/2006 by Mark from San Diego, CA Rating:
Why don't you own this yet? This DVD is sick, the playlist is awesome and it has a cool feature where you can watch either just the show, or the show chopped up with commentary and interviews. Plus it has bonus footage of old old old school BR from when they were really young. I was at the show both nights that they filmed and if you were too this DVD is a must have.

5/10/2006 by Nikita from Kirkland, WA Rating:
So good. I will admit I have never had the chance to see Bad Religion in concert. I didn't have high hopes for a concert style dvd, for fear of it not bringing you in like a show would. This DVD does that, it has great band and crowd interviews, and who can argue with the soundtrack? I recommend it.

4/23/2006 by Micheal from Aberdeen, SD Rating:
This is an awesome concert disk. These guys have been one of my favorites for the longest time now, and they sound great on here. It covers stuff from every album, which is cool. My only complaint is that I personally would of liked more of the older stuff, although the new stuff is very cool. Either way, still highly recommended.
