Graf Orlock/Grey Skull - Split (Color Vinyl)
Graf Orlock/Grey Skull

Split (Color Vinyl)

Dood 1

Released on September 20, 2005

Sorry, but this item is no longer available

This is a punishing, power-packed split LP where the cover is actually a die-cut backpack wrapped around colored vinyl! The lyrics are an essay tucked into the outside pouch. The Graf Orlock side brings you more movie-grind with their Ed Gein-influenced metal/grind with plenty of movie samples. Greyskull bring similar sounds but with much more of a Swedish influence.

Greyskull wasn't all that great. Graf orlock is definitely the one to get this for. They're sick.

As for the packaging, it's really cool, but it's so annoying to get the record out. I ripped mine.

So this gets a three. Could've been a better Band than greyskull, and the packaging could have been more thought out.

haha, fucking amazing. this is grindcores finest. plus the packaging is really cool, not to mention the abstract color vinyl. grey skull is pretty cool, but graf orlock is no comparison. very cool movie intros.

Graf Orlock fucking owns ... and I bought this for the Grey Skull side! Think Ed Gein and the Abandoned Hearts Club meets Phoenix Bodies and older Mara'akate!!! Just plain craziness that has a backbone made of adamantium (sp?) but serious, this split is one of the coolest things I've ever purchased. Oh yeah, every song from the Graf Orlock side is a character from Total Recall (the Arnie movie) and the lyrics are basically the plot with some social commentary. Please do Predator or Commando, oh please. Best ... packaging ... ever!

3/10/2006 by Chris from Sherburne, NY Rating:
good good good. buy this. the die cut backpack alone is worth this.graf orlock have done it again. thoses assholes are genius. greyskull......meh. not the most incredile band but noteworthy nonetheless. gotta love the total recall theme of this record. amazing.
