A Wilhelm Scream - Ruiner

Fourteen unorthodox arrangements of punk, metal, and melody going far beyond a rehashing of their previous record. It’s a chaotic, yet skilled amalgamation of harmonized guitar riffs, literary lyrics delivered with the gruff urgency of singer Nuno Pereira, backed with melodic vocals and thundering rhythms. How it all holds together is the secret ingredient of A Wilhelm Scream.

Fast, melodic, powerful, angry, sharp & witty, & a good sense of irony and humor without being silly. If you like "melodic hardcore" with tight instrumentation and a dash of technical guitar work at just the right times then check these guys out. Style wise, I would place them somewhere between Propagandhi and Strung Out, but don't get me wrong, AWS has built a sound all there own and are by no means just a copy-cat, cookie cutter band. They are legit.

1/5/2007 by François from Quebec City, PQ Canada Rating:
What a great cd. The first five songs a simply amazing. Guitar solos are everywhere on the cd. If you like bands like rise against or strike anywhere so buy this one... this band is my discovery for 2006.

8/16/2006 by Michael from Southington, CT Rating:
One of the best CDs of last year. I liked'em when they were smackin isiah and i likes'em even more now. Plus they rock so hard live that your face will melt. Mine did!!!

8/14/2006 by Ben from Leduc, AB Canada Rating:
This is A Wilhelm Scream's most polished sounding record yet. I like it, but not as much as mute print. I reccomend this cd if you like any of the previous record under the name "a wilhelm scream", but don't expect it to sound like Smackin' Isaiah, they have grown alot since then.

7/21/2006 by Michael from Kearney, NE Rating:
This album contains great punk music. It is fast and intricate with great guitar riffs throughout. If you are considering purchasing this cd and love to listen from beginning to end this is a must have for punk fans. Although vino veritas II is slow and seems misplaced in the album they prove that variety can add depth to the music. I did not like this one song, but the rest are excellent.

4/21/2006 by Alexander from Mosfellsbaer, Iceland Rating:
This albums always make me smile and not because its funny or whatever, its because its so good and it helps me trough the day specially at school. A Wilhelm Scream is the best active punk rock band today, if they would try to realese something bad, they could not do it. BUY THIS!

4/2/2006 by David from Chandler, PQ Canada Rating:
pretty cool but not as far than mute print. All song on the cd kick ass excpet in vino veritas ll this one suck. Buy this cd he is not a waste of cash

3/26/2006 by Ryan from Moscow, ID Rating:
This is my first A Wilhelm Scream CD, but definitely not my last...I don't know if I have ever listened to anything more, well, with no other words for it...melodic. The balance that they maintain between the ridiculously fast guitars and the witty lyrics is beyond words...and that's why I will put no words to this CD other than GET IT

3/7/2006 by John from Bradenton, FL Rating:
Real good cd. Very similar to Hot Water Music. if you are an HWM fan buy it now! I saw these guys live not too long ago and thats how I discoered them actually. They opened up for Death By Stereo Pennywise and H2O. Good vocals, good lyrics. Good cd.

2/18/2006 by Bruno from Joliette, PQ Canada Rating:
