Bled
Found In The Flood
Vagrant 413
Released on August 23, 2005
|
Produced by Mark Trombino (Jimmy Eat World, Blink 182), Found in the Flood
is the highly anticipated follow-up to the band¹s 2003 debut, Pass the
Flask. Regardless of what you want to label it, the music of The Bled has
brought them from the deserts of Arizona to the fore of the contemporary
hardcore scene. The sound documented on Found In The Flood is nothing more
than the answer to the band's own musical equations, a combination of
everything from jazz to Converge to Led Zeppelin. But if you must call it
something, take the advice of drummer Mike Pedicone, "I just tell people
that we're heavy."

| A really sweet album. I don't know why people always compare this to pass the flask and say that this isn't as good or whatever. This album is amazing, and the bled have made a big step. with guttershark, you can see the increase in intensity, and with antarctica, you can see their softer side, as well. Great record overall. |

| As awesome as this CD is, moving from their first CD "Pass The Flask" to this... I can't help but feel dissapointed. I can listen to it, but I find myself constantly comparing it to the first which leaves me upset, this might end up being one of those CDs that I put back on in a year from now and am amazed, though atm I'm just down about it. If you love this CD... checkout the first, it's a personal favourite and much much better. |

| A solid release by The Bled, maybe a little bit more soft to the ear. (Which is not necessary a good thing)
HOTel cORAL esSEX is a pretty good track, and for some reason, I also like She Calls Home & Daylight Bombings.
Pass The Flask was better in my opinion. |

| Amazing, incredible, angry, depressing, and loud! "pass the Flask" is a great album though...but this one the Bled experimented more w/ emotion and singing more than just that cliche' screamo shit....I highly recommend this...you would not expect this record to be out on a pussy label like Vagrant...buy it now!!!! |

| this cd is amazing. Finally, after 9283749821739872345 years of prolonging their sophmore album, the Bled have created yet another masterpiece. If you're a fan of Pass the Flask, you'll definately love this cd as well. Same great raw attitude, different tunes. |

| Like these other people who wrote reviews and most people I know, I liked their first cd better. Does that mean that this cd is bad? No, its a good album, have they grown much? Not really. They are still heavy and melodic which is good, however I would have liked a bit more screaming and less singing but thats just me. I hope their next outing will be harder. |

| this cd for me was somewhat of a dissapointment. they changed alot and not so much in a good way. maybe this album will grow on me like many have in the past but a lot of the time, it's just noise. it sounds like a mix of gurgley mars volta and the blood brothers, minus the squeakiness, of course. |
