7/8/2006 by Michael from Southington, CT Rating:
a 4 is a bit of a stretch when the first album was so awesome. The thing I like more with this sophmore effort is the recording quality. It's notably better and the heaviness really comes through. Weird song titles that give the impression that they're a self obsessed quasi rap group too....good stuff.

I find myself cranking Ethan stay clean fairly often when the music isn't on shuffle. It'll make me break your face!

8/10/2005 by Shane from Kalama, WA Rating:
This band has definitely brought hardcore to a new level. The first line on the CD, "CAN YOU HEAR US? OR SHOULD WE TURN IT UP?" is one of the most powerful opening lines I have heard on an album. All the songs are very melodic, mid-tempo punk hardcore featuring all screams/yells with the occasional singing, which I must say is pretty damn good. As far as musicians go, this band is on top of their game. The drummer and guitarist are VERY SOLID and the bassist SHREDS! Not to mention the production on "Govern Yourself..." is amazing, more great work from Paul Miner. For fans of Refused, Abhinanda, Unbroken, and Strife. I recommend this band to anyone who likes to get on their feet and rock!
