Lost City Angels

Broken World

Stay Gold

Released on April 5, 2005

This item is not available for purchase. Sorry!

The highly anticipated sophomore release from Lost City Angels is nothing shy of a modern punk/rock record that's strictly dedicated to telling the story of what these Bostonians have gone through, in their personal lives as well as on a worldly perspective.

LCA have crafted a record that takes the listener on a venture through life as they know it, BROKEN. From the anthemic woahs and blood curdling screams of "Liberation" to the self loathing swing of title track "Broken World", LCA have hit the nail on the head with this guitar driven energetic 2nd release. Combining punk, rock, metal, and emotion, BROKEN WORLD has received rave reviews across the board. Alternative Press gave the record a 5 out of 5 review, as well as the number 8 slot on their reader voted "Readers Chart" in the October 05 issue.

Supporting the best of today's punk and rock leaders, LCA has relentlessly toured in support of BROKEN WORLD with Tiger Army, Dropkick Murphys, Social Distortion, Vans Warped Tour, The Suicide Machines, Pennywise, Sick Of It All, Catch 22, The Unseen, and many many more. After listening to BROKEN WORLD or seeing their chaotic and utterly energetic live show, LCA are destine to be your next favorite band.

Produced by Paul Q. Kolderie and Sean Slade (Pixies, Radiohead, Bosstones, Hole, Dresden Dolls) and featuring guest vocals from Mark Unseen (The Unseen) and Stephanie Doherty (female vocalist formerly of Dropkick Murphys' fame)!

For fans of Social Distortion, Tiger Army, Alkaline Trio, Dropkick Murphys, AFI, The Unseen, Guns N Roses, Avenged Sevenfold, and My Chemical Romance.

These fine young gents break out with there major label debut BROKEN WORLD, with the amount of great music coming from Nitro in '05 I wonder what couldve been. This album still has influences from all over the board from skate to Old School to Straight up in you face punk. Cant wait to hear more form the LOST CITY ANGELS!

it's alright but they need to have more diversity and changed the chords a little bit other than the fact that all the songs sound the same they are not that bad give them a couple years and the rest of the world might hear about them but only if they tweek their sound

they also sound more indy than punk not that there is anything wroung with that but still........

they get 4 because they are good just not great
