| i have just recently discovered this band and i am in love. big business is a two piece consisting of the bass player and drummer of the melvins. as far as i know this cd was their first, and it's one hell of a debut. big business can make more beautiful noise with two people than a lot of bands can with 5 or more. the musicianship is excellent, and the songwriting is great. they're on hydra head so they have a sound similar to bands on that label, but still at the same time, completely stand out from the rest. while yr checking out this cd, get their new one called "here comes the water works" on hydra head. it is unbelievable!! |

| 2 man collosal band. The shows are amazing and Cody is an insane drummer: loud, precise, just as on the album. I think them as a blend of Motorhead with Stewart Copeland behind the drums. Great album. |
