The B Movie DVD, along with its accompanying AC/EP CD featuring five acoustic versions of the band's songs-including the brand-new "Grey Skies Turn Blue" and "The Silver Screen"-sums up the band's legacy with a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the whirlwind that is MxPx. The film, directed by Jeff Myers with MxPx, shows them touring Europe and Japan, working in the recording studio and just hanging out. It culminates in MxPx's special three-night stint at Seattle's Graceland last September, where they performed in front of an enthusiastic throng of longtime fans, who sang along with every word.

The DVD, B Movie features live versions of such MxPx classics as Tomorrow is Another Day, Well Adjusted, Responsibility, PxPx, and Let it Happen. As well as takes fans behind-the-scenes to see what makes the band tick, from confessing their own roles in this dysfunctional, but working family, and answering hate mail from a distraught mom insisting the group is corrupting her daughter to interviews with their rabid followers.

I enjoyed this DVD/CD combo a lot. The DVD is short and just shows a little history, but mostly what was going on with the band at that point in time. Just a cool little insight of the life of Mxpx. The EP on the other hand is amazing. They sound great doing acoustic, would like to see a full length of it one day. For information the songs are: 1. Grey Skies Turn Blue 2. The Silver Screen 3. Invitation To Understanding 4. Where Will We Go 5. Quit Your Life

Sounds Like: Slick Shoes, Run Kid Run, Side Walk Slam

W0W MxPx FINALLY released a cool DVD lol! Like so many people have said there aren't that many live performances, but this is exactly the kind of DVD I like - random footage of the band hanging out, being themselves. Blink-182 did it, Sum-41 did it, Simple Plan did it, and now MxPx have =D amazing If you like MxPx && you like 'random footage' DVDs of bands then you HAVE to buy this! Maybe not the best purchase if you're looking to find some good live footage of MxPx, but still the few clips of them on stage are awesome none-the-less

The name's Josh. This DVD/EP is absolutely amazing. I agree with both people below me that this EP is simply brilliant. It is easily some of MXPX's best work. MXPX isn't usually an acoustic band, but this EP makes them sound like they should be. Invitation To Understanding is, without a doubt in my mind, one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. And believe me, I wasn't expecting much from this EP. Most bands who put out EP's just do it for a sneak preview teaser of their new album, but MXPX did it out of gratitude for their fans and I was pleasantly surprised when I was popping this EP in non-stop after I purchased it. It is a nice change from the usual MXPX stuff, which is also very good. Now on to the DVD. This DVD, while not the best band DVD I've ever seen, is also very good. It is not like a movie like the person below tries to make it out to be. It shows MXPX on the road and what they do. They pull pranks on each other and just do random stuff that is very enjoyable to watch and surprisingly funny. They talk about when and how they practice and many other things, including how they decided to make this EP. All in all, this is an awesome DVD and the best EP I've ever heard from any band. If you like MXPX, please please pick this up. You will not be disappointed. If you're just getting into them, I highly recommend this as your first purchase along with Life In General or Slowly Going the Way of the Buffalo. 5 out of 5 stars, easily.

the dvd is fucking lame... but the ep is fucking brilliant. basically, they have actually tried to make the dvd a movie which is just really weird and makes you cringe at just how gay it is.. quite a few times. if you were expecting a live dvd like i was then you'll be dissapointed basically because i think there are only 3 or 4 live songs. however the ep is really good there are 5 songs and not one of them is bad. so pretty much i scored it low because it was not what i was expecting

This is an amazing dvd. MxPx is one of the best bands ever and this just proves it. There is more talking then playing but you get to see how they are on the road. All the songs that they do play though are great and they sound perfect live.(I think there is 5 or 6 live songs that they play) The acoustic EP is just excellent, every song is perfect, just like every other MxPx release. The acoustic version of Invitation To Understanding is just fantastic and sounds amazing. A must have for any true MxPx fan, and for a price like this you can't go wrong. BUY IT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!
