This Providence - Our Worlds Divorce
After attempting to make music for two years, in the summer of 2003, Dan Young, Phil Cobrea, and Paul Benson found their missing member Gavin Phillips and This Providence was formed. After self-releasing an EP and a year of writing, they recorded a demo with producer Casey Bates. These songs caught the attention of RocketStar Recordings who quickly had them signed and put them in the studio again with Casey Bates to record their first full-length "Our Worlds Divorce". With Gavin and Paul finally out of high school, the band plans to follow in the footsteps of the RocketStar Recordings alumni Gatsby's American Dream and tour year round.

Its a good release for a first cd. Not what They might want to improve their appraoch lyrically (make more lines memorable). Good band though. The lead singers voice reminds me of Ace from the early november. They also have a hint of taking back sunday at times. All in all, a pretty sweet cd.

Very good CD. First 3 tracks really caught my attention, and i could listen to the entire albim through. Certain Words... is another really good song too. Almost reminds my of newer saves the day, just a little less out there. I really suggest checking these guys out, well worth the money.
